This Mercury Faith 7 Patch measures 3 inches in diameter and was produced by NASA's official patch manufacturer, AB Emblem. Faith 7 was flown by Astronaut Gordon Cooper, one of the original Mercury 7. Faith 7 was the last mission in the Mercury Program, and launched on the 15th May, 1963. Cooper lifted off from Launch Complex 14 at Cape Canaveral, Florida, and completed a total of 22 Earth orbits before splashing down in the Pacific Ocean.
