Gemini 10 was the eighth mission under the Gemini Program and launched on July 18, 1966. Command Pilot John Young and Pilot Michael Collins orbited the Earth 43 times over the course of 2 days and 22 hours in their Gemini spacecraft. The crew conducted a rendezvous with the drifting Agena spacecraft which was left over from the aborted Gemini 8 flight—thus finally executing the program's first double rendezvous.
