DESCRIPTION
This space flown presentation depicts the Space Shuttle Atlantis taking off from the launchpad. STS-86 was a Space Shuttle Atlantis mission to the Mir space station. The Shuttle launched on 26th September 1997 and was the last Atlantis mission before it was taken out of service temporarily for maintenance and upgrades, including the glass cockpit. The Shuttle landed back on Earth on 6th October 1997.
