This Apollo 9 Recovery cover displaying the crew after splashdown has been hand signed by astronauts Jim McDivitt and Rusty Schweickart, and is postmarked Atlantic City, NJ. 13 Mar 1969. The Apollo 9 flight's top priority was the rendezvous docking between the Command Service Module and the Lunar Module. The docking/rendezvous was actually performed twice, once while the Lunar Module was still attached to the S-IVB, and again when the Lunar Module was active.
