This incredible piece of spaceflight history is part of our exclusive Space Collector Series. This booster pack contains a micro fragment (approx. 1-2mm) of genuine Apollo 11 Command Module "Columbia" flown kapton foil.
Kapton foil, with one side silver and the other gold, protected the Command Module from the extreme radiation of deep space. It is a common misconception that the gold side of the foil was directly exposed to deep space, it was in fact the silver side which was directly exposed to deep space with the gold side facing inward toward the spacecraft.
Also included in this booster pack is a collectible authenticity & information card, as well as an acrylic display disc to hold your historic piece of space flown memorabilia.
